In the ranking of the two thousand largest public companies in the world Forbes Global 2000 Vodafone Group Plc took 40th place, including the first earnings, 94th by market capitalization, 120th in terms of revenue and 139th in terms of assets.
On December 31, 2015 Vodafone offers mobile services 434 million users (the second highest in the world after China Mobile) in 30 countries. Another 50 countries, Vodafone is a partner in the network over which it does not have full control (including those located in a strategic partnership with the Russian operator MTS). The two main activities of the region: Europe; Africa, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. The largest number of subscribers – in India (184 million in 2015), more in five countries the company has more than 10 million subscribers (United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Spain and Italy). On the US market, Vodafone worked through Verizon Wireless, which had a minority stake (45%), but sold it in early 2014.
