Total S.A – French oil and gas company, the fourth in the world in volume production after Royal Dutch Shell, BP and ExxonMobil. Headquartered in Paris.

Oil and gas production reaches 2.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (approximately 130 million tonnes per year), reserves are estimated at 11.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (about 1.5 billion tons).
In addition to production, the company carries out oil refining and gas station owned by the network, and also owns a number of enterprises of the chemical industry and in other industries. Also it has a number of subsidiaries (Atotech, Bostik, Hutchinson).
