Sberbank – the Russian Commercial Bank, an international financial group, one of the largest Russian and European banks. Controlled by the Central Bank of Russian Federation.
Sberbank- a universal bank providing a wide range of banking services. Sberbank\’s share in the total assets of the Russian banking sector was at 1 January 2016 28.7%; on the market of private deposits – 46%; loan portfolio corresponded to 38.7% of all loans granted to the population.
The bank\’s branch network on April 1, 2015 includes 16 regional banks and 17493 units throughout Russia. Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia are working in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany. In June 2010, the Savings Bank received the permission of the Chinese Banking Regulatory Commission to open a representative office in Beijing, and in September 2010, the Bank of Russia registered the branch of OJSC “Sberbank of Russia” in India.
