NASDAQ-100 – US stock index. It includes the 100 largest companies by market capitalization whose shares are traded on the stock exchange NASDAQ. The index does not include the company’s financial sector.

The history of the index begins in 1985, when two new indices were introduced simultaneously: NASDAQ-100 and NASDAQ Financial-100. The first index included industrial high-tech companies, in the second – the financial.

Operation Index began at around 250 points. High volatility and prolonged trends make this tool attractive for aggressive speculators. However, the tool is quite dangerous for the participants with small capitals.
