ConocoPhillips – US oil company. Headquarters – in Houston, Texas.

ConocoPhillips is the third-largest US company by market capitalization, significant oil and gas reserves and production, and second in terms of volume of oil refining. ConocoPhillips is the fifth largest company in the world (among private companies) on the significant oil and gas reserves and production capacity for the fourth. 2015 proved reserves were 8.3 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

The main directions of the global activities of the company are:

Oilfield exploration and extraction of oil.
Petroleum Refining, marketing, supply and transportation of petroleum products.
Natural gas production, processing and marketing; the company owns a 50% stake in Duke Energy Field Services, LLC (Denver, Colorado).
Manufacture of chemicals and plastics, as well as their marketing through a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC (city of Woodlands, Texas), in which the company holds a 50% stake.
Sale of patented processes in petroleum refining (for example ThruPlus® Delayed Coking Technology)
