In recent months, Alcoa concluded a nine-contracts for the supply of various high-tech parts aviation unit General Electric, Airbus and Boeing. These contracts demonstrate that efforts to develop high-margin businesses continue to give good results.
Alcoa expects an increase in global aluminum demand to 6 percent in 2016 compared to 2015. The company also expects global sales of the aerospace industry to grow by 8-9 percent this year, while the world production of cars will increase by 1-4%.
